A former practicing attorney and now freelance journalist, Michael has years of experience covering a variety of education-related topics. Michael has interviewed several experts to get the inside scoop on online learning and graduate education. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara and the Santa Barbara College of Law.
Abby earned her master’s degree in education through a hybrid program at a private university. A former educator, she now works as a journalist, writing primarily on K-12 and higher education, as well as career exploration for young professionals.
Jennifer has more than a decade of experience researching and writing on higher education and online learning topics. As a writer for our team, she collaborates with experts, advisors, professors, and others within education to create in-depth, valuable resources for prospective students.
Ron served 36 years in the military. His last assignment was the 34th Infantry (Red Bull) Division Command Sergeant Major/E-9. He was also Supervisor of Military Personnel Services, which included the Education Benefits Section, and now uses this vast knowledge as our resident military expert on GI Bills, scholarships, and other military-related financial aid for higher education.
